Hotel Ottilia - music to match the style

The Project

For the lovely design hotel Ottilia in the Carlsberg City InStoreLife has delivered a complete sound setup, living up to their high aesthetic standards as well as their use of the spaces for both live music and DJ sessions. The expansive system is centered around the iconic Dipylon Hall and extends to all five floors of the building. It is divided into 17 zones, each individually controllable in order to adapt the experience to the surroundings.

We supplied all the hardware, from speakers and amplifiers to signal processors etc. We also assisted the owner, Brøchner Hotels, in ensuring that the music profile presented across all their hotel locations came through at Ottilia, in a quality living up to the chain's high sound quality expectations.

Atmosphere is everything

The hotel, which is situated in a historic building which used to be a silo and part of the Carlsberg breweries, includes 155 rooms, a fitness center, a rooftop bar and restaurant, several conference spaces in various sizes, and a lobby area, all tightly focused towards an aesthetic and pleasurable hotel experience.

Featuring exactly the right sound, the house is able to support its exclusive profile, which specifically includes musical experiences. Many businesses, including in the hospitality sector, underestimate the importance of sound, but at Brøchner Hotels there is a high level of appreciation for sound, and the role it plays for the guests. We are happy to have contributed to make sure that the overall style and appearance is preserved without compromising the sound quality.
